Apprentice Registration:
Registration for the Spring 2024 Apprenticeship will open on January 8, 2024.
Review Applicant Requirements to get a jumpstart on your application submission.
As an apprentice:
You’re a full-time employee from day one
Get paid to learn trade skills
Earn college credits without incurring any student debt
First 12 weeks of on-site work
Training Academy begins after the 12 weeks are completed
Certification upon completion of all required training
All apprentices must attend and complete a mix of classroom and online training throughout the program.
Applicant Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Must provide two letters of recommendation
Must submit a copy of an HS Diploma or GED equivalent
Must complete and upload documentation to receive a Mechanical Aptitude Test invitation
Must take the Philly Shipyard Mechanical Aptitude Test (Invitation Only)
A $65 Money Order is required to sit for the Mechanical Aptitude Test (Instructions will be included with the invitation)
