SUMMER 2026 PROGRAMS
Beat the heat this summer with purpose, play, and possibility!
At Philadelphia Youth Basketball (PYB), while basketball is the gateway, mentorship is the method. Built of, by, for, and with the communities we
serve, PYB uses the game to help young people develop the skill sets and mindsets they need to succeed in school, careers, and life.
Our Summer 2026 youth programs in Philadelphia (July–August) provide safe, structured opportunities for young people from kindergarten through young adulthood to grow on and off the court through basketball training and skill development, academic enrichment, leadership development, career readiness experiences, and mental and physical wellness.
Whether a child is learning the fundamentals of the game, building confidence with teammates, or preparing for their first job, PYB’s Kinder-to-Career pathway supports youth at every stage of their development holistically.

Early Years Summer Learning Camp
Summer Starts Here: Reading, Play, and Big Growth for Young Leaders
PYB’s Early Years Summer Learning Camp gives youth in grades K–5 a safe, fun, and supportive summer experience built for whole-child growth. Campers strengthen reading skills to help prevent summer learning loss, explore STEM, arts, social-emotional learning, beginner basketball, tumbling, gymnastics, pottery, and more. With weekly field trips, healthy meals, and caring coach-mentors, this Philadelphia summer camp helps young leaders build confidence, communication, teamwork, resilience, and joy on and off the court. It is more than summer programming. It is an early step in PYB’s Kinder-to-Career journey, where young people are heard, valued, seen, and supported as they grow.
