The NCAA clearinghouse is, a essential step to be able to play college sports. The NCAA clearinghouse is important because it’s was could potentially get your career started. Also the NCAA is what needs to clear you for a scholarship to DI or DII. The academic requirement you need to qualify includes good grades, because you can’t expect to get to do what you want if your grades don’t reflect how your doing. A student athlete can take however many unofficial visits because your parents are the ones that pay, but official visits are given to you if the college is considering to give you a scholarship. NLI stands for National Letter of Intent which “is a document used to indicate a student athlete’s commitment to participating National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) colleges and universities in the United States.” It is important because, if a you wanted to go to a college in the US colleges wouldn’t know your commitment to them without this document.
