On Saturday, April 9, Philadelphia Youth Basketball hosted its first-ever “April Madness” charity basketball tournament at the Palestra. The 5-on-5 charity tournament consists of 12 teams going head-to-head to help raise funds for financial scholarships benefiting lower-income youth participating in the PYB’s Collegiate Summer Camp Series.
PYB’s Collegiate Summer Camp Series begins in June and is open to all 4-7 year-olds in the Philadelphia Metropolitan region. The PYB program provides participants with a curriculum steeped in positive coaching and mentoring, academic enrichment, leadership development, and health and wellness programs, all delivered through the iconic game of basketball.
