Philadelphia is launching a new youth basketball program to help children reach their full potential

LOGAN (WPVI) —
Philadelphia is launching a new Youth Basketball program, with a mission to help children reach their full potential as students, athletes, and leaders.
Local basketball icons and coaches gathered Thursday for the announcement at the Jay Cooke Elementary School in Logan.
They also outlined plans to build a 25 million dollar youth development facility, at the site of the vacant Logan Triangle.
It will feature indoor and outdoor courts, training facilities, classrooms and a community wellness center.
