Volunteer Spotlight – Casey Langel April 28, 2017

Casey Langel has been a part of PYB since its very first organizational meeting. Upcoming Event – Girls Empowerment Program April 28, 2017

On May 13th, Philadelphia Youth Basketball in partnership with Philly Triple Threat will host its 1st Annual Girls Empowerment Program.  This inaugural event will focus on empowering female student athletes through skill development, health and wellness lessons, and off-court facilitated discussions. Our goal is to create an environment where women and girls can share their stories, embrace their identity as a female student athlete and continue to grow as strong leaders, students and athletes. Back Board Member – Dick Voith January 30, 2017

For PYB board member, Dick Voith, basketball is a family business. He and his wife Daniela both played collegiate basketball at Haverford College and Bryn Mawr College.  Their only child, Nina Voith, also played at Haverford College where she was the Women’s All-Time Leading Scorer, a title she shares with her Father for Men’s Basketball.  Dick was also named a Division III All-American with the Fords and later received tryout opportunities with both the 76ers and the Golden State Warriors….
